Dundulanyä entries for the 2025 edition of the world's most awaited month
This page collects the Dundulanyä entries for the 2025 edition of Lexember, the conlanging challenge that sees artists create at least one new word for each day of the month of December.
I only completed Lexember once, back in 2019, chronicling it each day on the Constructed languages Facebook group (those posts are not included in this website's archive), mostly in my then-current Chlouvānem conlang with some additional Atlantic entries in a few days. In Chlouvānem, which back then already had more than 3000 words, I tried following a theme for each day, creating at least ten new words related to that topic — just for the sake of preservation, in this plain text file you can find all of my Lexember 2019 entries.
This time I'm trying to do something similar with Dundulanyä, albeit with five words (excluding "too easy" derivations) for each topic instead of ten.
Lexember 2025, day 1
Today's theme: skincare, hand creams, lotions
udhinītirah (-ar) — moisturizing cream — from udhi- "within", √nītr- "to be wet" + -i-ar.
lūkha — nut of a tree which grows along the eastern shores of greater Taktapṣikha (Nērahlap, Laḫḫayiḍa, Mīmarafṣāl, Lupṣakīḫa) and along the southern Inland Seas (most of Hāmaja), in less wet areas than the main subcontinental body.
laukhulu — a buttery-like fat, similar to shea butter, traditionally used as a cosmetic and moisturizer in arid and semi-arid climates. It is extracted by lūkha or kampṣa nuts. — vṛddhi derivation from lūkha + -ulu.
kampṣa — a closely related species to lūkha, sometimes called "eastern lūkha", native to Śubhāla.
lūkhäśah — lūkha tree — lūkha + -äśah.
kampṣäśah — kampṣa tree — kampṣa + -äśah.
mīlama — scent

ninsa — flavor, taste — √näns- + -a.
prāninsa — aftertaste — prā- "back" + ninsa.
